The bill (Reg. No. 6307) introduces amendments to Clause 71 of the Law "On Pension Provision", pursuant to which, the pension for the period of study of wards, pupils, students, military students, auditors, trainees, residents, post-graduate students and postdoctoral students is calculated due to the data of the individual records in the system of compulsory state retirement insurance. The government pays dues for compulsory state retirement insurance of the mentioned persons enrolled on a full-time education under the procedure fixed by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine at the rate not less than the minimum wage.
The Committee members support the legislative initiative to guarantee social security of the educatees. However, the terms and the standards of compulsory state retirement insurance are altered only by introduction of amendments to the Law "On Compulsory State Retirement Insurance."
